Is it worth getting a lord of skulls for my Kdk/ CSM army??

Its looks great.
Weapons wise seems good
But base layout of 888pts seems alot for one thing.

No, it is not good.
It can't even stomp, so it's just gonna be tarpited by 100 pts of boyz

Unfortunately, no. Compared to what else you can get for 888 points, (That is, two Imperial Knights,) it's just not particularly good. The amount of firepower it can bring to bear is noteworthy but not exceptional, the D attacks in melee are good but too easy to either roadblock or just bog down in close combat. A 5++ is neat for protection, too, but considering he only gets 13/13/12 and 9 HPs, it's nothing to write home about.

For a couple humdred points less it would be at least viable, but as it stands, he's about as bad as the Stompa.

If you like the look of it then get the Kytan Daemon Engine from FW, same price (maybe even a fiver (£) cheaper), only 525 points you get your 5++ built in and it looks way more badass imo than the original Lord of Skulls.
