Like many others, I'm ridiculously happy with the release of Traitor Legions. I have a painted up Alpha Legion army and a bunch of Cultists, and now I actually get to put them to good use. Here's the list, meant for competitive play. I know it won't win a GT, but I think it has the punch to win RTTs. I would have loved to have taken the Sons of Alpharius detachment, but honestly the Command Benefits didn't seem that great compared to the limited Formations available.

The idea is to get the Apostle with the Cultists, either via warlord trait (Forward Agent or Faceless Commander), or by joining the Chosen in the drop pod and disembarking to join them. The cultists are a massive infiltrating Obsec unit that will be fearless, and will be able to move 3D6" each turn, with Zealot. For super cheap. The Lord will join the Chosen, who are a great little assault unit. Maulerfiends paired with a Knight pose a target priority issue for many opponents, and all 3 are pretty punchy. The Fire Raptor is a straight up killer, and the Terminators are another deep striking unit that can help clear off objectives. Mutilators, when taken singly like I did, can actually be worth their points by dropping onto objectives late game and mixing it up in cc. They are somewhat survivable for 55 points, having the 2+ armor and invul save.
