It's a total of 11 AV 13 vehicles, all with 4+ Jink available to them. 30 ObSec Warriors in Ghost Arks and not a single foot on the ground, effectively rendering all weapons Str 6 or less useless. It's got 5 Tesla Destructors, which, arguably is quite good shooting + the Doomsday Ark and the gak ton of gauss shots. It's shooty I'd say and I see it work versus a lot of meta lists like eldar. I haven't played it and I don't plan to, at least for now, but it's just an idea I'm throwing out there.

I haven't done it with necrons but my ork list with 3 Gorkanauts, 2 morkanauts, and the buzzgob stompa does pretty well at 1850. Its the same principle where it has 37 AV 13/13/12 hullpoints and all the combat is S10 or D except the gretchin. The thing you will have to watch for is fast combat units that will hit your rear armor. Also grav will be irritating as well.

My Armies:
Orks about 15000-16000 mostly unpainted but slowly being worked on
Militarum Tempestus about 2000 points just built
Inquisition about 2000 points unpainted
Officio Assassinorum 570 unpainted
I dont paint quickly

Drop-pod meltas are still pretty nasty if they get that pen. Plus 3 to a vehicle damage roll makes it a 50% chance that it explodes. By no means a guarantee, but it will force you to jink. If an opponent has enough actual AT they can mitigate your firepower by just forcing the barges to jink.

I'm a bit out of the loop, does jinking still affect occupants? If so this would be an even more effective tactic.

Looks decent but may require some playtesting. From my point of view you might have issues in Maelstrom missions since you only have two Objsec troops running around nd can't be everywhere on the board at once. Ironically, other Necron lists might give you problems as well since a good broadside from a Ghost Ark or a goo hit from their fliers will shut your vehicles down real quick.

I would say swap some Annihilation barges for more Ghost Arks and Warriors to get more boots on the ground, more firepower against both Infantry and Vehicles, as well as more troops to cap objectives.

And no, the 7th Edition FAQ release recently stated that occupants in a jinking vehicle can still fire at full BS, contrary to the experimental rule released on FB earlier on. Great news for Dark Eldar and Necrons (and Orks? 'Course not ya git we's dead killy nuff wit' hittin' on dem sixes anyways)

Yes, that's true Grav and melta are really scary, however noone's packing too much and I'll try to neutralise said units asap while jinking for the 4+ everything they target.

Drop pod meltas are scary as hell. It's basicly pray to God they don't take too much when they arrive, then shoot everything on them.

I have 3 ObSec troops. There are 30 necron warriors (quite durable, I'd say) embarked in AV 13 4HP transports with Jink. They're really probably not dying too much, especially given how the list includes more AV 13 threats.

The problem with that is the Ghost Ark+ warriors costs 235, while the Annihilation Barge only 120. I'd need to drop two, and that's really not something I intend to do.

As a whole, I'm going to be jinking arround 3 or 4 vehicles each turn, based on how many AT units the opponent has, try to mitigate as much damage, and then fire back with the rest of them. I really don't mind Jinking 2 AB's and two GAs. I still have pleny of shooting left

Can be a nasty army to field.
Not sure if it's Killy enough but seems like.
The Overlords can be nasty too if they take one the same unit in cc.
