first question answered. Updated this post with my list and some questions.

I need some help with the list below. particularly the support systems on some of the units. And are missile or shield drones with some of the retaliation cadre units a good choice? I plan to start the game with the stealth cadre and drone net on the table and DS the cadre. Are EWOs a waste on units deep striking?

When you refer to Aux you are referring to the hunter cadre or dawn blade. That is not required to run all 3 formations. Technically you can run as many formations as you want. The ITC and most tournament formats limit you to 3 though.

I would recommend Velocity Trackers on the Ghostkeels if you want AA in the list. 6 (or 12) S7 shots hitting rear armor will ruin most flyers' day.

Hyperspace

Weapons with 18" range do not make good AA, unless your opponent is hilariously awful at manuevering flyers. It's an excellent deterrant, but hardly effective. I'll post more critique in an hour or so, I have a Planetary Annihilation game.

Let's check out the list, shall we?
Why does your commander have guns? You have a drone net. Plop a drone controller on him, ditch the blasters, stick him in a squad of marker drones. Use the points you saved to buy more marker drones.
I see why now. I recommend taking a buffmander inside of a gunmander. Give him CNCNode, MSSS, PENchip, and stick him in one of the Fusion squads.

• Plasma Rifle is situational at best on the Riptide. I recommend SMS, due to sheer shot volume. You have plenty of AP2, what you lack is shot output.

• Switch one of the Plasma Suit squads to Fusion Suits. Again, you have plenty of AP2, you need anti-vehicle.

• Drop the Markerlights on your Stealth Suits. You have plenty of them in the Drone Net.

I recommend taking a Sky Ray for AA. Anything after that is up to you, really.

thanks for the help! what do you think about the EWO becoming a VT on the riptide and if the big crisis team should have target locks as well? And should the buffmander have some kind of weapon? I have 310 points left and want to keep an all suit theme. Suggestions?

Well the Zion Raker has a 24" range and a unit of two or three GKs parked in the middle of the board will cover the majority of it, but fair enough point on the Skyray and the rest is good advice, too.
