I've been wanting to make an Argel Tal model for a few months now, and now that my painting has gotten to an acceptable level I feel like I'm ready to begin. I've never worked with green stuff before, and I was wondering what type of wings I should use for my model. I've already got most of the pieces picked out (raptor legs, FW word bearers torso, BoP weapons etc.) Except the wings and the head.

Wings: I've narrowed it down to two options: possessed winged backpack or DE Scourge batwings. The possessed backpack is convenient and easy in that it requires not green stuff or anything like that, where the scourge wings give a more ascending look to the model, but requires me to use green stuff which i have no experience with. General opinions and tips with this are appreciated!

Secondly, I'm not sure which head to use. Argel tal is described as being canine like with horns. The first helmet to go through my head was the SW wolf helmet, but it's not daemonic enough for me. Any ideas or suggestions as to what head to use would be great, and it doesn't have to come from a warhammer line as I'm buying all the bits separately on ebay (or trading if you have the lying around!)

While these are the two things I'm most concerned about, general tips or ideas are always appreciated!

I would start with a Gal Vorbak with the Possessed wings. With plastic Custodes a thing now one weapon should be easy to source.

Yeah, custodes weapons are easy to find now. I'm happy for that, lol.
