Hey everyone,

Built a 3k angels list. Let me know what you think. Amd appreciate any and all feedback.

Row: the day of revelation

Allows for some cool stuff.
Force org: crusade
Hq:

185 pt praetor
Artificer armor
Iron halo
Jump pack
Digital lasers
Blade of perdition
Melta bombs

145 pt legion centurion
Forge lord - artificer armor, servo arm
Rad grenades - if a unit assaults or is assaulted, the enemy suffers -1 toughness. So now combined with bloodangels rules. Yhe squad he is with will benefit from enemy toughness -1 and the result of wounding with -1 also.
Refractor field
Jump pack
Melta bombs
Power axe

100 pt Democles command rhino
(All assault marines auto come in on turn 1 with 5+ cover and shooting weapons gain pinning with ROW. This will allow for no scatter within 24).

Elites:

180 pt Appothecary detachment
Appothecary x 3 (one per squad)
Jump packs
(Give some solid FNP for assault squads)

305 pt legion contemptor dred
2 x dreadnought close combat weapon
2 x inbuilt melta gun
legion drednought drop pod

Troops:

331 pt assault squad
(16 x marines 1 x sergeant)
4 x power axes
Sergeant:
Artificer armor
Power axe
Melta bombs

331 pt assault squad
(16 x marines 1 x sergeant)
4 x power axes
Sergeant:
Artificer armor
Power axe
Melta bombs

331 pt assault squad
(16 x marines 1 x sergeant)
4 x power axes
Sergeant:
Artificer armor
Power axe
Melta bombs

Fast attack:

230 pt lightning strike fighter (one or two rounds of tank hunting)
Battle servitor control
Ground tracking auguries
2 x kraken missiles
Twin linked lascannons

Heavy support:

220 pt deredeo pattern dreadnaught (anti air)
Ailos missile launcher
Twin linked anvilus pattern autocannons
Torso mounted twin linked iliastis pattern autocannons

425 pt leviathan siege dreadnought (Terminator or death star shooting, then look to assault vehicles)
grav flux bombard (range 18 large blast, ignores cover, ap2 , any model caught in blast must roll 2 d 6 equal to or under their strength value or suffer a wound. the area affected is now difficult and dangerous terrain for following turn.)
leviathan siege drill w/ inbuilt melta gun (str 16 ap 2 armorbane)
armored ceramite
2 x torso mounted illiastus assault cannons (total will be strength 6, heavy 8, rending)
legion dreadnought drop pod

195 pt Sicaran venator (anti tank, try and hold up a super heavy)
Pintle heavy bolter
Additional twin linked bolter

2993 total points

Plan: all reserved assault squads auto come in turn 1. Dont scatter due to command rhino and land within or behind cover. Wither the storm... Venator goes for armor and light armor. T2 move assault squads and charge. Dred and leviathan come on in enemy back field and shoot at armor. Lightning strafes enemy. Deredeo serves as anti air. Rinse and repeat.

Let me know.

Right, this is a big post.
The points listed are inconsistent are you playing 3500, or 3000?

On to the analysis:

Grab a blade of perdition for the praetor, its plain better than the paragon blade if you aren't buying another specialist weapon for more attacks.
The inferno pistol seems to be a bit hopeful, one shot at point blank range is not something I'd want to rely on.

I approve of the Damocles Rhino for deep strike control.

The apothecarion detatchment should be 180pts, not 196.
I dont see much point in the augery scanners. They are good on heavy suppport squads, not assault squads. I would cut them.

All of those assault squads are illegal, only 1 fancy weapon per 5 models.
Squad-wide meltabombs are pointless, see 40k FAQ, issue one to the sergeant instead.
Bulk up those squads to 20 to get more special weapons and to survive the inevitable bombardment on your opponent's turn.
Consider some power swords instead of axes on at least one unit, somewhere there will be MEQs they can hit.

6 Kraken missiles is overkill, you can only fire 4 per turn, and you probably wont get a chance to fire the other two.

I approve of the Deredeo.

Ilastus assault cannnons are a cool change to the usual sponson weapons.

Buy the venator a pintle combi-bolter to soak up weapon destroyed results.

My additions:
Grab a Forge-Lord with a jump pack and rad-grenades to help the assault squads win combats quickly.

My final thought, how are you going to deal with a warhound?

I prefer my assault squads at 15. 20 is too much of a footprint on the deepstrike.

Also, you can't have the typhon in a day of revelation list. You can't have any LoW other than fliers or Sanguinius.

Thanks a lot for the help. I made the corrections. Also are their rules for sanguinius yet?

How are you getting the Ilastus assault cannnons on the sicaran? The blood angels rules state:

"Any Blood Angels model (including vehicle) equipped with heavy flamers may exchange them for an Iliastus pattern assault cannon for +5 points each. Legion Predator Tanks may also exchange their Predator cannon with twin-linked Ilastus pattern assult cannon for free."

The only way I could see you getting an assault cannon on that tank is if you were to swap its pintle-mounted heavy flamer for an assault cannon. The paragraph quoted makes it pretty clear that you're swapping the actual heavy flamer for the assault cannon, not merely opening up assault cannons as an option for any sponson.

In that regard, the sicaran cannot take sponson heavy flamers, thus you cannot take assault cannons for its sponsons.

Am I missing something?
