So I'm participating in a friendly local 2000 point tournament in preparation for the NOVA Open. I know this probably wont be winning the GT but its fun to play and I love the army. Looking for thoughts on army composition, and any tweaks to the list you can offer. The only thing I dont like is that I usually run the Blightguard battalion (4 units of blightkings, lord of plagues (sucks) rotbringer sorcerer (also sucks)..-1 to hit entire battalion in shooting and combat, re roll ones to wound in combat) but the lord of plagues and rotbringer sorcerer are essentially additional taxes to the battalion because they blow chunks. So I went with the plaguetouched warband. It grants -1 to hit in combat only, but affects every unit in the army as opposed to just the blightkings. In conjunction with bloabs ability to debuff enemy units -1 to hit.. and the Harbingers 5+ save to wounds and mortals.. makes this army INCREDIBLY resilient. unfortunatley the really cool ability in the plaguetouched warband is completely useless (Granfathers gift) because I dont have, and cant feasibly have any units in multiple of seven

I could also drop the glotkin and have almost 500 points to play with. I have 20 plaguebeaers and 3 plague drones that I could summon in. He isnt my general, and loses a lot of his value. Basically he is there to draw attention, deal some serious damage and general fuckery. Also nice to have an additional shooting attack to trigger Bloabs unique spell. I have rambled enough here is a list. Let me know what you think.

Played a test game with this army against Iron Jaws. He ran a shaman, warchanter, mega boss, Maw Krusha, 30-40 ardboyz, brutes and like 4 units of ogres.

Mission was Border War. I had first turn

Bloab and a unit of blightkings ran to grab to west objective, and counter maw krusha, brutes, and a unit of gores on that flank. The rest of my army ran right at the bulk of his force. toward the east objective. nurgle sorcerer hung back to cast his long range buffs.

Essentially, Bloab is an effing beast. since maw krusha was already -1 to hit, bloab made him an additional -1, him and that one unit of blightkings took him down in 3 turns. I kept hitting him with miasma, shooting, and wounding him in combat. Couldnt get an arcane bolt off to save my life. He got some good shots in there, took boab done to his literal last wound, and blight kings down to 1 model left, but he took down a 500+ point hammer unit with little support.

the other 15 blightkings, glotkin ran straight at orruks and mega boss. For some reason his mega boss broke away and tried to take down the harbinger one on one. He had been hit with 2 (-1 save) curse the lepper spells. Harbinger and festus tag teamed to take him down. He was -3 to hit on one turn (battalion, bloab, and the beguiling gem) while festus came over and kept healing him >_<

I ended up tabling him. Once the line of orruks broke, I was able to get glotkin through and sweep around. It was a great game. very back and forth. we each had the same number of objectives for 3-4 turns until I finally wore him down and busted through in the last turn.

But does anyone have any way to tweak this list or any comments at all?
