Hello Dakka Dakka,

Where can I find the rules for this model? Is it usable in a conventional game?

I also read about a formation that allows for two lords of war options, could you field two of these toys?

Thank you for any help, the forgeworld website lists none of this from what I could find.

The most current rules are in Imperial Armour 4, page 71 for the Scythed and page 74 for the Barbed. They're perfectly legal in standard 40k games, though I tend to recommend keeping superheavies to around 1/4 of your points on principle so you should probably avoid using them below 2,000pts (the scythed is 535pts, barbed is 565pts) unless you're in a fairly competitive environment.

There are no formations that allow the use of them (there exist formations and detachments that permit multiple superheavies/Lords of War slots, but none available to the Tyranids, unfortunately), but you can just take two CADs to get two Lords of War slots.

Imperial Armour 4 - The Anphelion Project. 2nd edition.

The 2nd edition bit is important. There is an older version of this book containing a very different set of rules.

As for use in standard games, if your group permits wraithknights then they should be fine with this thing. The statline is very similar (just swapping a couple of points of I for some extra attacks), except it costs nearly twice as much.
