Hello fellow Dakkanaughts!

A quick question for those who have knowledge of the sisters of battle. Now, I know that there are the main orders of the sisters of battle, such as our martyred lady, the bloody rose etc. But, when GW releases plastic sisters of battle (around 2058) I'd like to start collecting them, but creating my own minor order.
Do the minor orders have to follow the ideals of the parent order, or are they like space marine chapters, where there is lots of variations from the parent chapter? My idea is that my sisters of battle order was formed when the black Templar's liberated their world, and saved their monastery from being overwhelmed. And as thanks, they base their ideals, combat, etc on them, calling themselves "The order of the black cross" essentially fan girls of the black Templar's!

Can this be considered fluff friendly, or not?

Minor orders exist.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Yes, plenty of Minor Orders exist of varying sizes.

Sounds great. Though you might be a bit early betting on 2058.

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

Shhh....

The optimism, hopes and dreams of a prospective Sisters player are a rare and fragile thing. We mustn't disturb his wakeful slumber.

Let the crush of reality do that.

Yeah, I'm just hoping it WILL happen, rather than not. Because playing zealous, batgak insane religious females with bolters, boobs and a big BIG love of fiery death sounds immense fun to play.
Ally up with the black Templar's for over the top religious nutter hilarity!
