Found out about this on FB, but I'm yet to corroborate (nothing on the Aos App, Warhammer Community or the Warhammer App yet)

Apparently, the AoS App is going to be offering a full army builder for 99p.

Exact terms and function seem to vary according to the FB thread, so could be hokum (source is credited as 'on my phone'. No disrespect to the bloke, but not the most convincing of citations for now)

That would be fine. I saw it listed as a subscription. Would have to be very impressive to justify the recurring cost.

It sounds good! I imagine it is just Scroll Builder redone. It would be nice if Tony P who made Scrollbuilder got a bit of recognition from GW for all his hard work over the past year.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Cool, looks like it's all but confirmed.

So what is 99p? Is that close to a pound? So about $2 Canadian GW will charge us?

99p would be 99 pence, so yes. Basically 1 GBP. Convert accordingly. Don't know conversion rate for Canadian dollars, but that sounds about right.

Right now the Canadian dollar should be way cheaper but GW still charges Canadians double what ever they charge for the UK people.

Right now conversion is $1.63 for on Pound. So yeah us Canadians are getting taken advantage of big time. I guess it's great for people buying Forge World but since I don't buy Forge World, it doesn't do me any good. :(

Why would you need it.....

AoS is like grade 3 math there is only addition.

50 of them cost the same as 2 so no matter how many you take that's like 100 points. Hell you can't even pick the weapons just go with it.

So you litteraly say I want 3 units each are 100 points if only I had a free device on every phone and computer like a calculating device that can add things together basic numbers at that.

But I guess a fool and their money, shall soon be departed.

I need to go to work every day.

Have you bought any miniatures? After all you only need the bases so why buy the minis? A fool and his money right?

After all this is not just suppose to be a calculator but an army builder if I am not mistaken. So it will save your army and then hopefully there will be an option to print out the army so you can bring it with you when you play. That is why I like using Battlescribe. Not because of the calculator but once you made your army you can print it out and it would neatly and nicely give you the stats and rules you need for your army.

In AoS you do not measure base to base.... So how does that work?

You kind of missed his point.
