I am mid way through converting up some new Screamers and a coven of accompanying heralds - however I usually play flying circus and not deathstars so I'd love some feedback thoughts and general ideas.

What's the absolute best way to run the star?
What sort of units support the star best?
What pitfalls are there?

Come on hive mind - I'm counting on you!

Screamerstar isn't the behemoth it used to be, since there's a lot more ways to deal with you now and your damage output isn't what it used to be, but in short you're going to want a Herald with the Grimoire of True Names, and then two or three more Heralds. Put them all on their thingey that makes them jetbikes.
Make sure to bring Fateweaver, so you can re-roll a failed Grimoire roll if you need to.

Aaand... You're done. That's it. Roll up as many witchfires and maledictions as you can get, after you get something to boost your invuln to 4+ - Cursed Earth does the trick really well. A 4+, boosted to 2+ by the Grimoire, that rerolls 1s. Summoning spells will also do good here, though Posession is probably a bad idea since it'll lose you one of your Heralds.

Watch out for tarpits and culexus assassins.
