Subject: Facing a Shadowsun-bomb. What should I do?

So my FLGS is currently running a tournament with a bit of a twist. We all start at 500 points and as we play we can upgrade units and gain more points as we progress. I'm currently running a Red Scorpions Drop Pod list at around 900 points and my last win allowed me to take it up to 1100 and take an additional Elites choice.
One player I'm due to go against soon is running a pretty competitive Shadowsun-bomb. Not sure on the specifics but this is what I can gather he has
1x Riptide with Ion Accelerator
Small squad of Pathfinders
Shadowsun
A number of Crisis Suits with various upgrades
Culexus Assassin
Whereas I've been taking the following:
HQ
Librarian - Mastery Lv2, Force Stave, Shield Eternal, Auspex
Librarian - Auspex
Elites
5x Sternguard - Drop Pod
Dreadnought - Drop Pod
Troops
10x Tactical Marines - Drop Pod, Combi-Plasma
10x Marines - Imperial Marine upgrade
5x Marines - Plasma Gun
Now we're both on winning streaks, he's 6-0 and I'm on 4-0, so I'm sure this'll be an uphill battle.
The problem is he has a counter to everything in my list, the pods are neutralized by his Interceptor fire (all the suits have it), and my usual tactic of taking Psychic Shriek will suffer from the Culexus. While my guys get FNP they'll most likely not be getting saves due to Plasma on his suits.
My last victory gave me an extra 200 points and unlocked another Elites choice I can take, I'm thinking of another squad of Sternguard in a Pod, or an Assassin (I have access to all 4), or another Dreadnought, or even some LotD.
Any recommendations as to what I should take or the playstyle? The JSJ shenanigans will hamper my game a lot and I've never played a Tau bomb before so any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

I don´t believe that normal battle suits can take interceptor. Only the riptide in the list of units you have there.

Can't Crisis Suits take it too then?
Edit: Battlescribe says the XV8 Bodyguards can take the EWO, that's probably what he's using.

I would check within the codex whether that is possible as battlescribe isn´t always right.

Any suit can take EWO for 5 points.

So any idea on the upgrades? Maybe the LotD would serve well with Meltas and a 3++ to mitigate his shooting, but it'd5be awfully expensive

Correct. However, the suits in the bomb usually have target locks, so with 2 other weapons and a max of 3 slots for upgrades, that's all they'd get.

Null Deploy and choose to go second. Deploy enough using terrain to keep it alive in round 1. if Farsight drops first, you'r in good shape, because once you know where hes at and rob him of a meaningful alpha strike, the next steps will be fairly obvious.
As i often preach: the best way to avoid a punch is to not be there when it lands.

I thought I'd edited a nice long response into my original, otherwise unhelpful post, but i guess it didn't show up. Bummer.
Short version: play the objective game, but don't be afraid to drop on the bomb. Even with +3 to their cover saves, Crisis suits are no match for volume of fire, and you'll be able to plink off a decent amount of wounds after you weather the interceptor fire. Drop on both sides of the bomb to hem it in and ensure multiple useful rounds of fire. This is a very tough matchup for you, but if you hammer that bomb down ASAP, you've got a shot. You should also dedicate a pod to dispatching the Pathfinders. They'll be a huge PITA, if you leave them alone.

flamer unit against the pathfinders is the way to go. they only get a 5+ save so a basic flamer would do it.
