I'm digging out my old IG figures, and most of my armies heavy weapons teams are on 40mm, and 25mm bases. In the new sets, they seem to be on 60mm ones, not been paying attention, so I am now in the process of refitting, and cleaning up a new Cadian detachment. So far I have a couple of platoons, some heavy weapons systems, and a tank platoon.

As of now, are the Heavy weapons teams on those larger bases, and how many men, including weapon do they count for- 2 men and weapon, or 3 men and a weapon?

aside from the new book, which I am still 50/50 on, what else aside from an LT, commissar, medic, and Commo guy do I need for platoon level command squads?

As for the company command, what load out is a good one for them?

Gathering the Informations.

They are 2 man teams. They can fire one weapon in the Shooting phase, only get 1 additional attack for charging, yadda yadda yadda.

Platoon level Command Squads and Company Command Squads are best decked out with Special Weapons where possible. Don't worry too much about HWTs in there. Medics are...iffy as well. All that it does is grant FNP to the Command Squad while the Medic is alive.

Commissars are taken 1 Commissar per CCS or PCS in your army. They must then be assigned to different squads at the start of the game.

Thanks a lot on that. Looks like I'm going to be getting into the HW squad base business...
