I'm building/painting an ork mek w/ a killsaw but I don't have the 8th edition codex yet, so I'm wondering what should be in his other hand. Are killsaws relegated to big meks only now, or can regular meks take them too? Does it replace a slugga, or would he have a killsaw in one hand and a slugga in the otha? Note, he's not in mega armor or anything like that, just a regular old footslogga. Thanks for any insights.

The mek is a choppa/slugga model. The choppa can be a killsaw, and the slugga can be a number of weapons from the souped up weapon list. KMB KMS Kombi/Rok Kombi/Skorcha or just a rokkit launcha.

He has the advantage of a character that can hide behind models, and can repair models that punch much harder than him and have a better save. You sure you want to build him with the saw?

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

Thanks for the response, that's exactly what I needed to know. I don't play competitively so the saw is just another option to keep things interesting on the rare occasion that my army does anything besides sit on a bookshelf.
