My collection of minis can only be described as huge. I think the only factions I don't have at least 3500 points of are Blood Angels and Genestealer Cult. I decided to split a couple starter boxes with a friend, and now I have a dilemma. Do I make the Primaris their own army, or fit them in with my existing armies?

I play second-founding chapters of Dark Angels and Space Wolves. The DA are at about the 6,000 point range, SW are at around 3500. Dark Angels are mostly tactical/scout squads with transports. Space Wolves are mostly footslogging hordes of Bloodclaws and Fenrisian wolves with Long Fang, Terminator, and Dreadnought support.

Which army would you think would best compliment/synergize with the Primaris, or should they be their own independent force? If independent, I need to come up with a color scheme different to my other marines..... the only one I can think of is bright orange.

I also have this problem with my Imperial Space Marine. Better for Wolves or Dark Angels? (my gut is saying Dark Angels here)

Angels for the imperial, unless you are willing to scult some pelts or something like that, I don't think he'd fit in with wolves too well.

We already know the primaris marines have a new tank and dreadnought coming, along with those reivers, so I think they could stand on their own as an independant force.

Fluffwise I think the Imperial fits best with DA due to their love of old tech, and a unique disintegrator sounds like something you'd find in the depths of their vaults.

Carcharodons (if you want a unique force) or minotaurs. Then you can buy any marines you want and use them with space marine rules, any subchapter, or any other space marine chapter (blood angels, dark angels, space wolf, etc).

I usually use codex blood angels, black templars, or space wolf rules for my carcharodons.
