So, one of my armies is chaos demons. In my area it's basically all matched play so summoning is never used. The rules are basically a joke, it's like crappy deep strike.

I'm not sure of the right way to fix it, but if one wants to keep the current mechanics, I think a good change might be to reduce the points cost of units brought in through this mechanic. Does anyone else have an idea for fixing this rule?

Froth at the top, dregs at the bottom, but the middle - excellent

Let the summoner move. Still has to be within/outside of 12"/9"

Letting the summoner move is part of a solution, but it still makes holding points for demon DS more risky and less valuable than DS for other armies, which is totally backwards
