Hello all!

I hail from the frozen wastes of Finland and started to dabble in this wondrous game. I bought some Imperial Guard about 4-5 years ago but couldn't find the time to start assembling and painting them back then. Now I have a chance to start putting my dudes together and even play with them soon.

8th edition seems to be in a good spot and updating rather nicely since it's introduction, so it seems that now is a good time to join the merry battlefields of 40k!

As mentioned before, I have around 600 points of Imperial Guard (or Astra Militarum now?) and I'm wondering what to purchase next to complement my current units. I have the following boxes:

1x Cadian Battleforce (2 Infantry Squads, Command Squad, Sentinel, Heavy weapons team)
2x Cadian Shock troops box
2x Cadian Command Squad box
1x Leman Russ Battle Tank
1x Chimera

I already made one list using the above units by ditching the vehicles and adding some Scions and Taurox Primes to make it a 1000p army list. I was wondering whether I should just put the list here or post it in the lists section?

Post a thread in the army list forum as suggested, and you will get a lot of advice from good people.

But, just for now, I would suggest more troops.
Some heavy weapons.
Sentinels.
