Hey guys,

Got inspired to build my own all plastic Beastman Bounty Hunter for Necromunda as I hate working with Resin and the price point is crazy high. This is what I cam up with: (Still unpainted)

Picture quality is terrible but all I could do in a rush; I plan on painting him in the next few weeks and I'll post a full panted version. In the meanwhile let me show you how you can build this chap with a trip to your bitsbox and save all the FW money and headache.

Kits used in this conversion:

1) AoS- Beastmen Bestigors (Lower part of body, mostly legs)
2) AoS- Chaos Marauder Horsemen (Torso, arms, decorative chain)
3) AoS Beastmen Gors (Head and Horns. Horns clipped to create "half-horn"
3) 40K -Astra Militarum Scions- (plasma gun and forearm, chainsword and forearm, knife, water cantine)
4) 40K - Astra Militarum Catachan Command Squad (holstered handgun in front)
5) 40K - Grey Knights Terminators - Pouches on sides of torso
6) 40K - Space Marine Vanguard Veterans - (Grenades)
7) 40K - Dark Vengeance Cultists (Shotgun barrel) (Very rare bit, you can use any shotgun barrel, notably genestealer Neophytes)
8) 40K - Ad Mech Vanguard (Radium rifle stock)
9) 40K - Necromunda 32 mm base
10) Warhammer Skulls Pack (skull)
11) Citadel greenstuff for leather strap over shotgun, filling in gaps.

I hope this helps you guys build your own cheap and all plastic Gor Half Horn. I plan on doing plastic conversions of all the FW Necromunda characters.

Let me know what you think, cheers!

Very cool

though i think i would of loved to see the goofy old school plasma pistol.

(the one from the second edition sprue comes to mind)

Thats a really nice rendition. Missing the cigar though

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

That's excellent, I also think a regular plasma psitol like that is much better looking than what the official model ended up with.

I honestly like this conversion more than the FW version. The proportions and face on the FW one look weird to me.

Thanks guys!

The thing I love about Necromunda is that the scale allows you to spend a ton of time on individual models that you just cannot on a whole army and because there is a plethora of human scale bits in both AoS and 40K it's quite easy to mix and match.

I'll try to get this guy painted ASAP.
