The second issue of Spellcaster: The Frostgrave Magazine is now available. The main feature is rules and a scenario for dragons!

Ooo, nice. Just getting into Frostgrave myself. The background snippets are most ingratiating.

Can you see if they'll do a print on demand? Don't tend to buy PDF's - prefer the hard copies myself. Also, can you see if another print run of the spell cards could be done?

I don't see any mention of Osprey on that blog or at the drivethrurpg entry it links. Is this basically unofficial fan rules? I have no problem with fan rules (I publish them myself for other games at my blog linked in my sig) but I'm just curious about the status of this.

Joe writes the rules for Frostgrave and that's his blog.

Yeah, it's basically me writing my own fan rules! (How sad am I). Really, it just give me a place to include items that I think are fun, or interesting, but don't fit well into any of the Osprey produced supplements.

There will be a print-on-demand version. I am just waiting on RPGNow to send me the proofs so I can approve them. I'll let you know.

Issue one was great. Looking forward to having a few spare minutes over Christmas to work through issue 2. Thanks Joe!

I suppose that would fall under the banner of a writer being his/her own worst critic if you publish supplements unofficially to your own work... Thanks for the update and I look forward to checking it out.

As you know from the other threads, our group is diggin on FG and even bought into GA.

Please let us know when Frostspace is being developed. We've been looking for a sci-fi game and the FG engine is one of the better ones we've found.
