I mean, it's all obelisks and pyramids. Quite a few people make good necron terrain.

You can make home brew crystal formations from the outer sprue frames.

I haven't bought any of the Necron stuff, but I put together some of their "Imperial" stuff last weekend, and they're cheap, awesome and sturdy.

Some pieces of construction foam and a fine tooth saw and you have all the crystals and egyptian themede structures you need.

Dawn of war, the exspansion with the tau and the necrons, as well as soulstprm, feature some nice ncron terain.

sprue, as mentioned, makes good smallish crystals.

Can buy some 3d printed crystals (advantage of looking a lot like crystals) - I have some from Ebay, I quite like them.

Also, just basically cutting insulation foam (the pink stuff) into obelisks would work. Carve some necron runes on them with a ballpoint pen. To do a large one, I'd stack the insulation foam up, cut it roughly to size, then glue the layers. Once they're completely dry, take a sander, or some sandpaper and sand down the sides to the shape you want.

Otherwise there's also buying bits and such from necron kits.

Probably a good foam cutting table, pink or blue foam, and a ton of blocky necron rocks. cut in some grooves for their standard energy effects ala soul storm and it should work out pretty well.
