Fantastic style.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Nice lightings. Is it pure white?
I also love the head... very sharky

Greetings bebopdrums2424, Your Space Sharks Captain has great weathering!

I like the Non-Metallic Metal done on the power fist, it really looks great!

The power sword looks like an blue ocean which is perfect for Space Sharks.

The base looks nice.

Did You free-hand paint the Space Shark insignia or get water slide transfers?

I like the grey color used for the main armor, very sharky!

Looks awesome.

Feel like you can really enhance your work though if you invested some more time into the base.

Space sharks do really well with some tribal panel detailing as well. Can really make the flats pop.

Great crisp work though!

Really, really nice work. As always, your transitions are smooth as silk, but the subtle texturing on the cloak in particular is also extremely effective.

Just gorgeous. Love the grey, and the powerfist is amazing. I really admire the texturing on the cape too

Holy Terra, this is ace! Grey has never been so good! I like how you've given the face a warmer look, I'm guessing that you used creams or what not to achieve that.

Excellent work! The armor is crisp, the red power fist is highlighted at a pro-level and the osl is very minimal and realistic. The best part is the pale skin tone though, absolutely brilliant!

One thing that I would do differently, and this is strictly a personal choice, is make the base edge a different color. I never like primary green for the base edge, because it distracts and sometimes clashes with the figure. I think GW have it right by going with neutral grays and browns for base edges.

Nonetheless an excellent piece!

Very nicely painted! I love the OSL on the right hand and sword hilt, the weathering is nicely done and I like how you highlighted the cloth.

I am having a hard time getting over just how GREY it is though. I mean, I know it's supposed to be, it's just... maybe you could have mixed up your hue's a bit? Like, have some warm greys and cool greys that stand out a bit more on different surfaces? Especially the skin: I really think that would look better if it stood out a bit more.

I don't know too much about the Space Sharks though, so maybe it looks exactly how it should.

I do have to agree that the skin of the model gets way too muddled with the rest of the model since you didn't change up the tones very much to differentiate it from the non-organic portions of the model. I'm also not a huge fan of the green ring around the base, but if you were going for retro since you did the classic Space Sharks, I get why you did it. That said, the model is really well-painted. I love the NMM red power fist.

yeah, I dont entirely disagree with the sentiment of the skin....its the one thing i question as well, but as far as fluff is concerned, its painted me into a corner so to speak. I dont want the skin tone much darker than that and i didnt want it lighter than the armor. And as per the thefluff pics, its pretty accurate in terms of the tone so im actually pretty happy with it. And even more strange is the colors i used are way different than the grey of the armor. The other option was to go with the helmeted head which i would have done in hindsight anyways... Now lol, The green base rims offer a contrast to an otherwise pretty monotone color scheme, all the while tipping hat to the 90's. I couldnt imagine any other color to go with to be honest with this straight forward basing of a basing choice. (this army is to game with so i excluded using elaborate basing ideas like snow or mars for the sake of getting these models table ready and game friendly). THanks for your input always good to hear differing perspectives.
