I’m trying to think of ways to make a mechanical looking mutalith vortex beast. Any ideas? Just has to have the weapons in it and be mechanical but I am not sure where to start.

Best I can think of is maybe a Khorne Juggernaut, or a mishmash of Skitarii bits. It's a cool idea though. Maybe try and think what pose you want the model in amd work out what bits you can grab to fit that?

Edit: or if you're going outside GW, maybe a small Zoids kit?

Starting with a maulerfiend is probably your best bet, since it’s the same basic size and shape and is a robot. You can always add stuff and give it different parts but it’s a good start.
