In the core rules, it specifies that a comma d ability can be used as many times as you want, as long as you have the command points. It does not mention that a hero cannot use multiple, so they can RAW.
The ironjawz command ability mighty waaagh! gives every unit within 15 +1 attack (if you roll under he amount) or +2 if you roll a 6 and there a 6 or more units. This is an extremely powerful ability, and by the wording, can be used multiple times! That's nuts!
Same goes for any other powerful command abilities (like +1 attack etc.)
Am I right? I mean, I hope not. Ironjawz are going to be an army to be feared

Eh, can't really confirm on my end yet but it sounds right. I'm not sure if it's a bad thing though, Destruction lack summoning so need a nice edge(usually with a choppa'!) and it's not like every other army won't counter it with their own big command abilities plus magic spells.

Is it maybe a general rule that has a specific exception in Matched play?

You can, but note that many command abilities have been errata'd so say a unit cannot benefit from them more than once.

Yup.
It makes Volturnos amazing compared to the basic Akhelian King now.

Each usage costs a CP and it can fail. It's extremely powerful but it's not the be all end all. There are FAR more abusive CAs out there. And Ironjawz suffer from being relatively low baseline. Other armies have similarly powerful, spammable CAs on top of summoning and just better overall points efficiencies.
Ironjawz will be a lot better than they were, but still likely not a top tier force.

All pales in comparison to Tzeentch summoning.

Seraphon summoning is the strongest by a fair margin. Nurgle summoning is a tentative second because it doesn't scale so is quite strong in smaller-point games.

Archaeon can unleash a lot of annoyance if you've banked/bought/have battalions and use his command ability a few times in one turn

This.
Archaon is just laughing at the moment. Use that multiple times per turn and oh boy are we in trouble.

As others have said, a LOT of command abilities got errata'd/FAQ'd to state that a unit can only be affected by it once or it can only be used once per turn etc etc, so might want to double check and triple check because getting concerned or hyped that a certain ability is broken and spammable or not. The only real criminal one i've heard about is the Arkhelian King/Vulturnos abilities, but considering the struggles Idoneth have unless they go eel spam and rather meh and lack luster Battalions that book has and that is only works on a single turn in the game, I let that one slide.
