To date I've only used an airbrush to do base coating, but I've got a bit of time just now so have tried out doing some camo patterns on my old 51st Dunedin Guard force. I've tried to.match the original colour scheme and pattern, just withairbrushed fuzzy edges rather than the brushed paint blocks.

I'm reasonably happy with it so far. My main concern.is that I get some spatter from the nozzle after a few passes. I think.i just need to get better at wiping out the spray nozzle more frequently.

I'm using citadel air paints,.but even with it further thinned I still.need to set the compressor to 30psi for anything to come out. Is the paint still.too.thick.or.do.i have a blockage somewhere? I've cleaned the brush a lot and earlier today used some interdental brushes in the tubes with some acetone to clean out any residual.gunk so I think it's pretty clean.

Anyway, c&c welcome. I have lightly oversprayed a bit too much in a couple of places so.i think I'll.go back over the lack areas again with black to darken it down again.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
