Hi dakkadakka, I am new to the AoS game and I have trouble understanding what counts as battleline and what not.

Specifically are mortal chaos warriors and marauders with mark of slaanesh battline for a chaos-slaanesh army?

They are for a chaos or slaves of darkness army, right?

Anything with the Slaanesh keyword counts can be added as slaanesh.
Anything that is battleline with the slaanesh keyword (so including marauders and warriors) counts as slaanesh battleline.

Stuff with a specific battleline like chaos knights that have "slaves to darkness battleline" count only as battleline in a slaves to darkness army.

They are battleline for anyone regardless of mark.
