I've been a big fan of the Kerberos Panzer Cops from when it was a manga, and enjoyed the Jin-Roh anime.

Imagine my delight to find that the Koreans have done a live action version as "Illang: the Wolf Brigade" and found it on Netflix!

The costume work and mechanical design is top rate. I hope that we get a new round of toys available!

I wanted to like it--I felt like it was missing something that made Jin-Roh appeal.

Can't quite put my finger on what that something was, it just is my opinion.

It's the ending, and the backstory transposition to Korea did not help.

OTOH, it's all secondary to seeing the Protect Gear live action!
