All, I was tasked for an up-coming game to make a large sight-blocker chunk of terrain.
Original request was 3 feet long and that seemed too much for any "normal" table (we are playing on 12'x6').
After thrashing around a bit I figured ~1' by 2' was about as big as I wanted to go.
I also wanted something I could use other than for
40k which we were playing.
I had 3 weeks to do this which is a bit tight for a busy life and kids running around (building survived a flying hockey-puck so it has been stress tested).
I was somewhat inspired by this (Micro-Art, District XIX Warehouse):
So, a bit of spare plastic ceiling tile, a fair bit of polystyrene hobby bits, cross-stitch mesh (granny plate) and some cake decorations of all things I got this:

I just have to paint this thing which I will be doing shortly.
I think it would work for Infinity, Malifaux without it being too much of a stretch.
Of course Necromunda and Killteam is a given.
Not so sure about Bolt Action, I am tempted to see if it is doable, the ladders are way out of proportion but does hit that WW2 Wolfenstein kind of look.
Any thoughts or comments of what I should add before I paint this?
Mind-you I plan on having various crates and barrels as placeable scatter terrain so I do not want to clutter it up too much.
I found I was leaning on sanding the surfaces and using white glue for most joins.
For more load bearing items I used LePages 100% repair gel, that stuff is impressive.
For the cross-members I added a tiny blob of crazy glue gel at each end to ensure they did not
sag as the white glue set.
The floors are spaced out 5" the same as the
40k new terrain kits.
The roof railing is 3/4".
Bay doors at each end are 6" wide by 4" tall.
Walkways are 2" wide.
Anyone who plays other skirmish games: what is good or bad about this building?
Not sure I would do another but I might be able to mitigate things.
Anyway, I hope to show some initial painting pictures later.
I am looking at a grey interior with a desert tan exterior.
Any responses positive or negative is appreciated, it all helps.
Thanks!
