I recently started painting my own ventrillian nobles but I wanted to have a different painting scheme then the red/white one and found a photo of these guys. I know how the armour is painted (from the ventrillian painting video). But I am unsure on how the blue/grey and green have been done here and would like to request help in figuring out how they were painted.

I personally think that the grey/blue are a base of stegadon scale green highlighted with dark reaper (any wash used here?), but got really no clue to how the green was done.

They told me i was crazy, that i could not win with an army list like that. 2000 points later i found out that they were right
