I have decided to post a few picks of my Death Guard army as I proceed to knock out the first 1000 Points. The blog will also show some progress shots of some terrain that is also being worked on. I figure I will start with a shot of my workspace.

Welcome to the club

Another quick update with Typhus. All that is left is to finish up the base. Hope you like it.

One more done today. Really enjoyed painting this Plague Sugeon. Especially liked the smock covered in gore. Hope you like another one.

I just can’t seem to stop the painting today...gotta love a snowstorm to keep you inside all day. So take a look at a simply converted Foul Blightspawn...only took 3 well placed skulls and some nurgle’s rot seeping out.

Was able to add another converted Malignant Plaguecaster to the list. Decided to also expand the list to 1250 points. Take a look.

One more thing for tonight, got another Foetid Bloat-drone painted up.

Thought of a new way to represent a Daemon Prince of Nurgle with wings. Don’t know if the base is too small or if it is close enough to the standard one. Let me know your thoughts.

Everything looks awesome. I really like the bases. My opinion(which doesn’t really matter) I think you should paint more of the bases in the swamp/toxic look. Give them a theme of coming out of the swamps look.

You should post an overall army picture when you get to 1000 points.

The amount of painting you’re getting done in such a short time is pretty incredible. Keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback! I have actually been able to get everything painted and it is taking the pics that seems to take so long. I will see if I can get all the remaining units up and a pic of the overall army tonight. Here is the Plaguemarine squad.

Are you planing to add some kind of gloss effect to the goo, or are they done?

The goo is already glossy, but that is hard to tell in the pics. Using Nurgle’s Rot right out of the pot is great stuff.
