Hey AoS community. I was a bit active with warhammer fantasy back in the day, I have a collection of Ogre kingdom that used to be more or less 1000p. I've always liked the look and idea of the medieval knight so a thought occured. Can I make a ful mountedl knight only force that's competetive in the current form of AoS? A friend is completly new to the hobby and she might start collecting Orcs. I was thinking of maybe joining her with a knight only army. I'm a veteran of 40k, have lots of sprue and I've been making converted models for the last ten years or so. The practical part of things isn't really a problem, just the game part. I don't currently own a copy of the AoS rules. Looking for some 1000p points ish.

I'd be happy for any response!

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.

Regular human Knights are not in the best place right now. They have the problem of needing a update and no Battletome for regular humans yet.

There is no announcement for that to change at this time, but with the way they have been releasing Battletomes lately some us hope they are taking a page from 40k 8th and trying to get lots of armies updated books.

If its just Knights and don't have to be humans, I have seen Death players make Black Knights or Blood Knights work.

thanks for the replies. I was actually going for a deus vult infidels kind of force so thanks for posting that.

Anytime! I do those for our campaign group. Though deus vult was also battle tested in a few tournaments from others that liked it.

I have an update coming soon for it as it was designed to compete against power builds. The reroll mechanics got tweaked and grail knights up in cost to 220.

Someone should run an army using those rules and FEC models.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

It fought the tourney fec list (before current book) and that was a tight game.
