I'm adding a Breacher Gue'vesa'ui to my Kill Team, and I'm wondering what would be the best way to do the legs. I could just use the Catachan Jungle Fighter legs, as those look like basic military slacks and boots, but then I would lose the upper leg armor of the Breacher legs. Could I splice the two parts together somewhere around the knee and, if so, how would you go about doing that?

Maybe cut the Tau legs under the knees and then replace the part with human legs? Maybe getting rid of the hooves alone would suffice and you just replace it with boots.

Some people get great results mixing Van Saars with T'au.
Lots of stuff turns up on google:

Wow. Tau and Van Saar really.do.match up nicely.

Back in the day I mixed Tau fire warrior legs with Cadian kits to make some storm troopers
