So, with loon curse coming out I figured it's a decent time to make the gloomspite army I've been thinking of. I'm wanting to do something a little different to the usual black and yellow cloaks.

The idea in mind is a tattered homeless look, painting their robes to look like they've been stitched together from different scraps. I'm thinking of calling them Ragfolk or The Tattered and am trying to think of other aspects of them to tie it all together.

What is holding me up is the colour scheme for the Squigs and how to base them. A shattered cobblestone pattern certainly could work, have fungi growing in cracks and the like.

Any suggestions or ideas to share?

I would consider looking at Gnoblar (now Gutbuster Grots) kits & bits, potentially doing part swaps with weapons & tools. They have a very scrappy look that I think could be a good source for parts.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
