In the Sylvaneth Tree Sprite/Revenant kit there are Sprite heads with hair, and Revenant heads with no hair.

Since the hair is separate, I'm wondering if it's possible to modify the Revenant heads so that the Sprite hair will fit them.

These is a Revenant head:

This is a Sprite head:

As you can see, part of the top is missing to accommodate the hair.

Do you think it's possible to modify the top head so that hair will fit on it like the bottom head?

If so, any suggestions on how best to go about it?

A razor saw is probably your best bet. Should be able to get nice straight cuts down to the level you need and can do 2 or 3 cuts to get the width you need.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Should I try to clamp the head in place somehow when cutting?

Also, I take it a razor saw is quite different from a Stanley knife or hobby knife?

A bit confusing. The two units that you can build from the kit are Tree Revenants (the ones with bladed weapons and hair) and Spite Revenants (the ones with claws and monsterfaces)

Yeah, but I want to convert the 'monsterfaces' so that I can use the hair from the other faces with them (because I prefer the monster faces but want them to have hair).

Well, update for you, guys.

On the plus side, I managed to modify a head sufficiently that the hair would fit on it.

On the negative side, the hair I actually wanted to use somehow got broken.

Thanks anyway, guys.
