Subject: Agrax Earthshade, non gloss still glossy?

Is anyone else having recent issues with GW's Agrax Earthshade? I have the ordinary, non gloss version for shading some marines and a Razorback, and the result is... well, kind of glossy. Has anyone heard about a possible mix up regarding labels or pots or anything? The difference between the last two pots of shade I used is significant. And troublesome, because stuff will need repaints and new shading.
A.

GW paints are satin by nature so if you want a matte finish you're best bet is a dull cote or matte range of paints. It could also be due to not shaking the pot enough as the pigment can separate from the medium.

I have shaken the pots enough to earn them xp-points as ersatz maracas! So, it is not that.

I've found if you put it on too thickly it can actually start to separate back out before it dries leaving some glossy patches.

I've had glossy patches with both Agarax and the crimson. I let some of the crimson pool down in some recesses and I'm not joking - it looked like strawberry jelly.

I bought somebody's CSMs to strip the other day, and one of them has this crazy gloss effect to it. A friend ended up getting crazy gloss from the GW washes too. I've never had one do that and don't know how I'd even made them go so incredibly glossy.

as i see it its a change in the formula. by intent or accident, the change has happend.
first gen shade washes had 0 gloss in them, thats why they released the spesific gloss variants.
my latest agrax bought 5 months ago allso is glossy and pools like crazy, to the point where i dont use it anymore.
