Do you know what you want to get more involved in? Blackstone models have downloadable rules on the
GW website for use in
40k, I think.
Thanks guys.
There's datasheets for the Blackstone minis in the box - it's all a far cry from when I played a little
40k over 25 years ago however. I was more into Blood Bowl and Man O' War at the time.
However, I picked up the Core Rules books for both
40k and
AoS on eBay a few months ago - more for the lore and the artwork to be honest, so haven't actually looked at the rules sections yet.
Apart from that, I'm planning on starting out by having a go at painting these and playing it with my board game group, then maybe start looking at
40k, or perhaps Kill Team. Some of my old friends that I used to do D&D with are still mates on Facebook and seem pretty active with
40k, and I do like the look of the Start Collecting Thousand Sons box.
I'm just worried as stated above that this could end up very expensive very quickly! Soul I don't mind losing - money I'm more concerned about!
(Oh, and I'm in the
UK, not the US, despite the flag!)
