Epic scale scratchbuilding? You know it ;-) Foamboard, cardboard, granny grating and drinking straws!

I laughed out loud. This looks like something I'd make in school as a kid, I was the kid who drew wheels and windows on my pink erasers to make my own Hot Wheels.

Ignore the unhelpful berk upthread. They look cool. Ultimately, all wargaming models are but elaborate counters. These look the part, are the right size and let you unleash some serious dakka in Epic for a few pence. Nice work!

Cheers Johnny, praise from a master is praise indeed! To be fair he had a point, they do look pretty goofy unpainted but it's amazing what a coat of primer will do :-)

I do some scratchbuilding myself and this is very true. Just an undercoat transforms a messy lump of cardboard, glue and toothpicks into something passable.

Nice work

Scratchbuilding at that tiny scale has a lot of challenges, but one of the good things about it is at tabletop distance it is mostly just a silhouette that is important. I think these fit the bill pretty nicely.
