Hi has anyone bought the chaos cultists from BSF and use the in 40k? The GW website says that the rules for using them in 40k can be found in BSF:escalation, which I can’t find on their website. How good are these rules, they must be different from codex CSM looking at the weapons the miniatures have

you get traitor guardsmen with a fixed euqipment, (better SV)

you get alot of GEQ melee specialists.

mostly meh,
there are some interesting units in there, the psykers and the negavolts are quite decent.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

If you use all the Blackstone Fortress and oddball expansion units you can technically make a new army with their own keyword faction. Is it great? Well, no. However if you want a couple cool units that can synergize a bit that can also be CP generators for Chaos it can kind-of work.

There is a mini dex in the main box for using your models in 40k. Same as the stuff in Rogue Trader last year. Not particularly good competitively though. Shame as they're lovely models.
These were a4 size pamphlets though so I imagine they don't fit in the box sets for just the traitor guardsmen/cultists. Perhaps the rules are in the same bit as the build instructions but I can't confirm this.

I've been playing a while, my first model was a lead marine and my first White Dwarf was bound with staples
