Just today I've noticed a few times when Chrome has blocked a pop-up (about:blank or something like that).

I've never known Dakka to generate pop-ups, so not sure what it's about.

Dakka does have a couple of popups that occur when you post a particularly short post, or one with no caps, to check that you actually intended to hit the post button, but that doesn't seem to fit any of your recent posts. So seems most likely to be some sort of adware on your machine.
