hey guys im somewhat new to warhammer tabletop.

I thought the model of the Mega-dread was cool but as i searched around a little i also saw something called a Meka-Dread that looked very similar.

What exactly is the difference?

Hope, is the first step on the road to disappointment.

The Mega-Dread is a bigger dreadnought / Deff Dread, whereas the Meka-Dread is a Mega-Dread piloted by a Mek.

There used to be a difference in the weapons & options between the two, but they kind of got stuck together in the last book.

Meka-Dread/Mega-Dread is the same datasheet in 8e. It can't repair anything, but it can haul a KFF, which is normally a thing only Meks do.
