Hello everybody

Usual story for me: played 1st and 2nd ed 40k as a kid and have come back to it in middle age via Blood Bowl. Every time I searched for something 40k related, this forum popped up. ArbitorIan's armies have been a particular inspiration.

First Army is going to be Guard with mostly proxy models and subs with GW heavy weapons: russian plastic sentinels, 3d printed tanks and lots of Raumjauger Infantry from Wargames Atlantic.

Also, I can't stop thinking about the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT. It comes towards me in waking nightmares stuffed with 12.667 Ogryns, firing 4 heavy flamers without the need for a cardboard template. I think I have found an inexpensive proxy for the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT in the form of a 1/35 scale home-made model of the APC from Aliens. The substitute CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT arrives on Saturday. I imagine it will destoy the letter box. I will post pics proudly once it's converted and painted.
