What is a good army that either runs big heroes on monsters, or behemots that is likly to remain good over time?

Where are soulblights at these days? Are they any good, do you play them as their own faction?

How do lists with big behmots play? Are you dependant on a high movementto get charges, or do you sceen with chepa units? What gives?

Soulblight is kind of a "?" right now until the new book drops.

How do you feel about dinosaurs? AKA Seraphon.

The Sons of Behmet also work very well. They are a bit limited in unit selection & playstyle though....

Mostly depends upon how you play & what mixes of stuff you enjoy using. Most forces with behemoths can do either.

Seraphon can run all monster and seems it's doing okay(and if you can find them still 3 of discount boxes that came out saturday gives you 2k with options). Flesh eaters can do 5 monster at 2k list though that's not as hot as all monster seraphon. Gargants even cannot play other than monsters and is solid though not top.

Ogres another that can do all monsters though mixed with cavalry more popular. Then again ogre riding big mount is close to monster

If you like losing and love red meat Warherd are amazing for a terribly swingy army that has terribly sculpted BL troops and heroes and monsters who are not much better. And one of the monsters is so bad it would lose a rock throwing contest to an elementary/primary school kid.

If i haven't sold you on avoiding Warherd, avoid them. I love them but good Lord, they are just not good even if you want to take 4 Ghorgons and 6 Doombulls

Having said that they can only get better,.. one would hope....

Hmmmm.... OK.

All veyr nsightfull.

Do anybody have any advice on how to play Stormcast Eternals? I tried to read up on them, but they sound all manner of confusing for a starting player. Everything looks the same and probably plays the same?

I would honestly suggest you hold tight. New edition of the game drops soon.

If you like the aesthetic of Stormcast they play like Space Marines. tougher, decent defence, some good offence. Plus over editions they'll be good and bad. Which sounds defeating but it's good to have an army that has a good baseline to start with and when not good can teach you to be a better general.

If you were starting out I would suggest pick the models you like the look of the best. Every army has it's hey-day where it's OP or broken and also utter garbage. Don't play to win play to have fun with your army and get to know it and engage well with the hobby side.

At the moment? Spam longstrike raptors as much as you can in 1 drop battallion.

Very old book that isn't atm all that good. Their monsters not that good.

Good news is with new edition around the corner odds are new book is on horizon. Maybe my 8k points gets good use soon as luck is i don"t have all that much longstrikes so odds improved something i have gets buffed up a lot.
