Someone has lost something fundamental in their brains I think.

“Fantasy football” teams based on real world stuff but diaper up to the cutest. Like aggressively cute…

I’m seeing chimps, gorillas, lemurs and sloths I think. Probably some other stuff. Looks like they had fun doing them hopefully if interest to someone.

Columbus, Oh

So they are using "Greeblood" as a material.. which is a new material/casting method starting with this kick?

I feel the need to see/hold/convert with it before taking a plunge on it for close to $75 plus shipping..

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

I guess Greebo Games sold a lot of these cute / critter teams before to make a KS just with them alone.

Very niche market, though. But then...Bloodbowl is already one.

Still, they are already 10 times above the initial pledge, so it seems there are really a lot of people interested by this niche market.

Based on colour alone, "Greeblood" looks an awful lot like 3D printer resin. I wonder if they have just transitioned to purely 3D printed products, from whatever they did before.

Not my cup of tea. A team of critters from the 80s horror movies would have been cool. But those... Hard pass.

Beaumont, CA USA

They describe the process used, it's a cast thermoplast resin/plastic using vulcanized rubber molds (like metal miniatures would use). Might be Siocast or different machines w/ same process. Molds are initially created using 3D prints of the models, then molded similar to a traditional spincasting metal mold but set up for the special casting machine, which melts the resin and injects it like injection-molded HIPS plastic (which needs steel molds). Seen a few other threads talk about it, looks like a really interesting casting option since metal has gotten so expensive in recent decades and traditional 2-part resin casting is very labor intensive and hard on the soft silicon rubber molds.

This particular line of models doesn't interest me at all, but I'm excited to see more companies using thermocast resins

Looks like they have some of the pictures have bits of the supports left behind and one of the pictures with blurb mentions working with 3d printing companies to make a special belnd. Ah answered above.
