Continuing the Saga of the Cursed City! This time painting what's probably some of the best models to paint GW has ever made, The Vyrkos Blood-Born!

As always everything is done using Contrast Paints with extra Highlights, and let me tell you, this was a true joy to paint.

That is incredibly inspiring! Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos; contrast paints are still a little intimidating, but your results are superb. Consider me a new subscriber.

The reason I can’t get comfortable with contrast paints is the glossy nature of the darker tone. Are you reducing the shiny effect when you water down the paint, or are you using a matte coat, or are you just embracing the glossy effect?

I’m one of the slowest painters on the planet, so contrast would be a huge help if I can just fix my gloss issue (…perhaps therapy?)

I just don't care, it's not THAT glossy, just a bit satin that's all. People tend to magnify it.

If you care that much, a coat of AK Ultra Matte vanish and bob's your uncle, problem solved
