I am starting a deathwing army and I wanted to ask on some rules that I cant find

Can HQ choices attach to squads?

If you can, can you add more than one, so a strike master and say a captain into the command squad?

If not, when putting units into transport, can you put in a 5 man unit and a hq choice into the same land raider crusader?

If there is a rules for this can you point me in that direction

Thanks in advance

You're thinking of 7th. In 8th and on HQs are completely independent of their units in every way. You can put as many different units in a transport as you want as long as it has space for all of them.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

HQs have auras and stratagems now, to replace them joining squads as they used to do.
Transports can now usually take as many bodies as it can fit, from a mix of units and characters.

As already said, these days commanders and command squads are physically separated. Characters can still be protected from sniping through the look out sir rule, and nothing stops you just placing the two units right next to each other

Transports can carry multiple units so long as they have the space to fit them, so you can stick a captain and his command squad in a land raider. However, my understanding is that the land raider is currently not considered worth its points, its rather expensive and people feel like you can get better things for those points, especially as terminators have a native deep strike capability to get them up the board.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
