https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1520354196/osmoticmeld?ref=user_menu Osmoticmeld is an experiment! It is a collaborative partnership between the renowned artist Ian Miller and myself[John Robertson], and was born of a serendipitous meeting over social media many moons ago. I must also extend special thanks to both Sebastian Czarnecki and David Pauwels, they have been incredibly generous with their time in giving advice, support and guidance: Seb’s also designed our website and David’s done some fabulous work with his hair sticks! links to high res images of sculpts (easier to see how sharp they are) Automatically Appended Next Post: I've been following these on facebook for what seems like ages as they've been sculpted and am impresses with how close they are to the Ian Miller artwork that inspired them

John Robertson has done a great job of bringing Ian's art to life.A fantastic collection of miniatures to start the range off too.

Oh man, the Fire Wheelers are absolutely glorious. I don't know if I want that particular model but I'm stealing the idea for my Slaneeshi warband. I know I do want that standard bearer.
Ian Miller's Chaos Realms will always be the definitive version. His LotR work is also excellent. Neither is likely to receive this kind of treatment, but getting what's shown here is already great.

They are really nice sculpts. No word on scale but I'm assuming since he's mentioned old hammer they're going to be pretty small. Looking at the tumb with the not boy and his dog easily be 22mm tall with that pose.

I've asked if we can see any of them against a ruler and will report back
(but i'd suspect your right and they'll be on the smaller side of things)

got a response Hi Orlando, The humanoid figures are 28mm foot to eye, if you look at the Story section and the Model section in the project you can see I have taken pics with my thumb in them to get a sense of the scale. If there is any figure specifically you want sizes for then I can take a snap for you, ok? so anything specific you'd like a snap of ? Otherwise i'll just pick a couple at random

Wow, those pictures simultaneously feel like they really capture Miller's style, but are also almost illegible weird ugly old photos that make it really unpleasant to look at and make me uncertain as to the quality.

Mushclaw will have a Rattus model up top, two long scything arms, and some large branches extending from the back of its shoulder blades replete with a crow or two! I'll update the WIP every other day.
Skyborn will obviously have some wings! the rider will have a more ornate one than that show in the art. I also plan to have the serpents- you can just see them in the illo- intertwined under the "Griffin" creating a cradle that will support the model keeping the claws at least 40-50mm from the ground in order to give it a strong sense of dive bombing its foes. More WIPs soon, all the best

I'm delighted to announce that my mate Danilo De Francesco has agreed to join us and present his wonderful sculpt of the tree chappie Wigmund for our Osmoticmeld Kickstarter. When we reach £25,000 this Add-on will be available to add to any of your pledges. Next up there will be some new stretch goals, and these will actually be FREE for Bog Bucket Pledges! And they will also be available as Add-ons too so no one loses out. And finally I have been asked of the figures are "in-scale" with Oldhammer miniatures. Here's snap of my unpainted Oldhammer figges interspaced with Osmoticmeld ones.

Wow, they are going to be tiny!
Looks like I won't be backing this one, it's a shame because they looked really nifty, but I'm just too used to today's 35mm-ish scale.

The rats both look amazing and are apparently free. I'll certainly pick this up once one of the add-ons catches my eye.

Final hours. All the big boys have been unlocked and a bunch of little guys have been added as freebies to the high pledge level.
At the time of posting we're right on the edge of unlocking the Mutant Queen Rat as an add-on.
