would people have an issue with a leman russ tank facing backwards i mean full conversion las cannon hull on the back sponsons facing back etc ill post some pictures just wanted a concensus of how it would be excepted?
The shape of a Russ has more to do with WW1 trench-crossing tanks aesthetics than anything else. Those up-sloping front tracks were to help grip the far side after the length of the body and the distribution of weight help bridge the gap over the trench but then GW shortened the body so the actual practical effectiveness of the slopey front tracks is somewhat questionable to begin with. It’s GWs own rule of cool versus yours. And a fresh take on a classic kit always gets the thumbs up from me.
I like it, though the extended front does make it look a bit wedge shaped. That may also be due to the fact that the white track guards stand out as the model is unpainted.
Don't really understand why you've put it on a base though.
