I have two of the old monopose Contemptor Dreadnoughts, so have some spare weapons. I have seen on ebay people selling the new Contemptor kit without weapons, would it be possible to use the old weapons on the new kit?

It should be perfectly workable. Both monopose and multipart contemptors feature ball & socket arm joints so they'll go straight on without any issues.

Depends on where you're magnetizing/glueing. I did manage to cut/tear apart both arms and body to make them compatible with magnets. But greenstuff was needed to fill the gaps.

I chopped my monopose contemptor arms as well to make them compatible with the multipose version (i.e- magnetised at the elbow) and honestly, for the amount of work it took to make it fairly seamless, it wasn't worth it. Better off using the multipose arms.
If you just want to glue the whole arms on though, that'll work.
