Since they are 75pts regardless now..

What is everyone's thoughts on best loadout and why?

Id like to put them in a Ravenguard list/army im making, 1000-1500pt list is the goal(enough units to play either size game).
Ive got:

Shrike
phobo chaplain
suppressors x3-6?
jump vets x10
reivers x10
tact suits x2
Eliminators x3-6?
*Vanguard Deployment*

more or less figured out the other load-outs just not unit sizes yet, just as some basic background info on what i got in mind, not trying to win tournaments, just for fun and kinda fluffy games with friends. Getting back into the game again since a couple editions ago lol.

Sorry to be a Richard?

But define Optimal.

What are your plans for the overall army? What do you want/need/rely on the Eliminators to do?

If they’re your sole answer to anti-tank? What’s your plan to keep them kicking? Assuming the worst, let’s say your opponent it’s wily enough to ded them turn one. What then?

They can be efficient, sure. No dispute there. But always, always, assume the worst. And plan accordingly.

Like i said, Ive been away a couple editions so a lot is new. No blast/Flamer templates and vehicles have a toughness etc, so i wont pretend like i know how these units will work with all the new changes. that's why im asking optimal loadouts as to get an idea of how they can and do work for others that are in the new. What i have seen from searching online is based on them before the "Oprah equipment system" and havnt found much since.

my intention are Im going for a fast striking army, Eliminators would be mostly objective holders/backfield. im not sure if they are viable or worthwhile enough as character killers or just to have the extra anti tank. Suppressors and tact suits would be only other ranged anti-tankish in my list if i dont take las.

Lasfusils are easily the better choice unless you are character hunting. I would say you dont want to character hunt with your list, suppressors aside you need some heavier anti-vehicle. I love the bolt sniper rifles but I think lasfusils are the better choice for you.

The point being made is there isn't necessarily an "optimal" loadout. It depends on what else you have and what it can do. Since you included (theoretically) the rest of your army (and not an opposing army suggesting list tailoring), people can look at what you're missing and point out you don't have a lot of anti-vehicle/monster and suggest the LasFusil.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.
