P.S. I'm trialling a new, more expressive voice. It should eliminate the perennial gripes about monotony, but so far the reaction in the comments is largely in favour of the old voice. I'm undecided as of yet.

The new voice is more expressive, but the robotic nature of the previous one was something I saw as intentional. It helped make a number of the jokes work.

Agree 100%, latest report goes back to the old voice. Many people agree with what you've said and I think it's a case of 'not everything new is better'. The deadpan-ness of the old voice is what makes the memes 'pop', on reflection.
