How do!

Bit of a long shot, but I’m soon to be getting into custom T-shirt making (just for laughs and hobby, not small business or anything). And that’s going to involve a Sublimation Ink Printer.

Seems there are a few on the market, just wondering if any Dakkanauts might have experience with any such device. Also will branch out into Mugs and that in due course. But starting with T-shirts.

Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?

I have personally only used screenprinting for T-Shirts and such, and so can't comment on that directly, but i have a practical typ for you:

Check if you have any 'makerspace' or something like that in your vicinity, or if you live in or close to an university check with their student representation - they often have stuff like that for their own use or for the use of various student groups, and are usually quite happy to give you a short rundown of it and let you play around either for free or for beer money. Imho that beats watching tutorials or reading testimonials

Not a bad idea! No Uni, but there is a college just up the road. Will see what courses they offer and if those suggest they might have the equipment.
